Even though the ATGWU doesn't have many members in the Public Service, Mick O'Reilly believes in forging alliances between Workers in the Public Service, and the Semi-States and the Private Sector, and I totally agree with Mick. There is an ongoing campaign in the capitalist media and amongst right wing politicans to try and pit Private Sector Workers against State and Semi-State Workers. This is part of the capitalist's plot to divide and conquer. It would be great to see a delegation of the brave and heroic battling Irish Glass Bottle Workers at Thursday's meeting in Solidarity with their fellow Workers.
