There will be a film followed by live Brazilian music and food. The venue is the St Nicholas of Myra Parish Hall, Carman's Hall (a street running between Francis St and Meath St). Before the illegal invasion & bombing of Iraq, five members of the pacifist Catholic Worker movement made their way into Shannon Airport & non-violently disarmed a US Navy Warplane in the early hours of Feb 3rd. 2003. The Pit Stop Ploughshares, Deirdre Clancy, Nuin Dunlop, Karen Fallon, Damien Moran & Ciaron O'Reilly have spent 4-11 weeks in Limerick Prison & two years on bail. They go to trial at Dublin's Four Courts on March 7th. They are charged with 2 counts of criminal damage 100euro & $US2million. They face a maximum of ten years imprisonment, if convicted.
