As you might know, the last days saw history being made in those small little ways.
the 60th anniversary of D Day in Normandie saw leaders of the World assemble and salute the veterans and honour the dead of operation Overlord and remember the causes for which they fought and died.
As you know the Pontiff John Paul 2 met with President Bush and was very critical of the relations between the West (both winners and losers of WW2) and the rest of the world.

OPEN exhibition has been on since on start mayday and comes to a close this weekend
we are hoping to do a little wander and flyering @ the streets @ 1.00 then get to gallery for @ 2. open discussion gets underway @ 2.15. this will be recorded by anna livia and indymedia, material will form program on nearfm

anna livia will come down for part of it and record, they also want to interview indymedia later in week.

Clare people got an interesting insight into two important topics this weekend following public meetings in Ennis and Shannon.

If we vote 'Yes' on June 11th, children who were born in Ireland, and have never set foot outside of Ireland, will have no rights as Irish citizens.
