The surreal experience that is Ennis district courtroom continued apace last Friday 7th March with 3 separate cases of resistance to US military use of Shannon Warport being heard. Set in a 1970’s GAA clubhouse/drinking den, the court surroundings brought a whole new meaning to ‘being brought to the bar’ as most of us sat propped against it, reading papers. read full story / add a comment ![]()

There exists in Ireland a proud tradition of postcarding the world to remind them that it is time for paddys day parties again ( . . . or maybe just to remind them that they can celebrate all they want but it was ours first . . . I'm not quite sure). This is our time of the year, the time the world - if not conceding that they are actually paying us any real attention - at least casts a vacant glance in our direction.
