Airfield is a working farm in Dundrum. I spent the first 18 years of my life growing up beside it and I am concerned about its future and the community's right to have access to it as a rare amenity in the area. Rumours are that property developers have other ideas though. One example of this has been Gannon Developments and John Finnegan buying some of the farm’s land already, where they built the car park for a Luas station and several high rise appartment blocks. read full story / add a comment

I believe that popular resistance to the imposition of the neo-liberal economic agenda is vital- whether one lives in Ireland or Bolivia. However, it is often easier to see this agenda being imposed in the developing world than it is to recognise it as an increasingly central dimension of the ‘European Project’. read full story / add a comment

There will be a press conference happening in the Imperial Hotel, Monday the 12th of January between 12pm and 1pm (possibly spilling over into the lunch hour).
