you´ll never guess where I am. But I´ll give you a clue, a group of people just walked by carrying big drums and white flags with red crosses in the middle. You guys first contacted me back in 1995 with a big brown envelope inside I remember was the Presbyterian Church in IRelands response to the Peace process documentation and a copy of your 300 anniversary brochure. You sent it to Rehobeth23 in Dublin. I loved the photo of the native american indian with the sash in Canada. That really got me thinking. Now its well known that you guys have very a different approach to Reclaim the Streets! but sure there you go. You might have in your day jobs seen videos of 1998 when the striking Liverpool dockers march joined RTS in Trafalgar Square making a celebration of in excess of 20,000 people. It was all ahead of the ... read full story / add a comment

HI LADS! now we all remember a day back in 1979 when there were no cars on the streets of Dublin it was when the Pope came, lovely man the pope. He is on what we in the know call the white block of pacifists and religious people. Though occasionally he is on other blocks too. When he prayed against human genetics with the Imam of Damascus a while back he was on he green block as well. Do ou see how it works? You are the blue block. Because you wear blue. Now we don´t call you blue block everywhere. Becuase in some places you don´t wear blue. Back to the Phoenix park, I went for a pee behind a tree (I was sent by the mammy, and it was before my first communion so I don´´t think it was a mortal) ... read full story / add a comment

Abstract: The aim of this article is to show that the so-called 'war' against terrorism that was launched by the transnational elite in the aftermath of the 11 September, like the previous 'wars' of the transnational elite (Iraq,Yugoslavia), aims at securing the stability of the New World Order (NWO) which is founded on capitalist neoliberal globalisation and representative 'democracy' by crusing any perceived threats against it. ... ... read full story / add a comment

This is the Dublin Council of Trade Unions EMERGENCY MOTION that is being distrubuted to all Shop-Stewards to read out to their regular Union Branch meetings, or in many cases an emergency Union Branch meeting, to vote on this EMERGENCY MOTION, or if that's not possible, small informal meetings are taking place at workplaces and factories all across Dublin city and county. So far from what I've heard there's been strong backing for this National Work Stoppage on Friday, October 4TH, with not much opposition being expressed at meetings by ordinary rank and file workers. I believe from I've heard, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that the Waterford Trades Council are mobilising for a 24-hour, all-out Work Stoppage in Waterford city and City, involving all workers from the private and public sector, the semi-state sector, and the civil service. ... read full story / add a comment
