On Democracy Now! today Robt. Fisk said that Bush and Blair were small, pathetic strutting men, who had no experience of war. War is not about defeat or victory but about death, he said. On the same programme, Chris Hedges, New York Times, said that war is death, and that flagwaving and patriotism was necrophilia. He said the Press was using jingles and cliches from the Govt. 'Shock and Awe'was a euphemism for mass murder of civilians. The holocaust denier 'David Noone' (Brian Wallace?) was spotted in the UCD arts block today with more of his holocaust denying/fascist recruitment posters. He was confronted by various UCD activists before being rescued and escorted off campus by security.
