It has been reported that large numbers of US troops have been staying in hotels in the Limerick/ Shaanon region. Apparently as a result of the breakdown of one of the transport planes up to 350 troops were driven by bus to various hotels in the region. The National Bus and Rail Union (NBRU) is not a member of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions (ICTU) thank god!
