BADIL encourages peace and justice activists worldwide to join these and similar initiatives in order to build a broad and sustainable movement, similar to the boycott movement that finally removed the repressive apartheid regime in South Africa. ... read full story / add a comment

It is one thing for an evil individual to appear in every generation, and there is no question that Arafat is evil. Whilst sacrificing the Children of his own people is probably his most unforgivable crime, sacrificing Truth through his treacherous propaganda war is his most dangerous crime. But for the political and media leaders of Europe, who are fast becoming accomplices to his Murder of the Truth, the crime becomes much harder to forgive. It is precisely this crime, that of BUYING THE LIES committed by ordinary people during the second world war, that created that fertile ground for Adolph Hitler to build his propaganda machine to brainwash an entire continent and come within an inch of destroying modern civilisation.
