According to the March issue of the Ecologist magazine (page 17), the Belgian company Indaver are preparing an Environmental Impact Assessment for the building of an incinerator in Ringsend that would handle over 500,000 tonnes of waste per year. This is the same company that has already got planning permission despite local opposition, for an incinerator in Duleek, in Co. Meath.
