The collective known as Anonymous will stage its 12th monthly protest against the 'Church' of Scientology this Saturday. This will complete a full year of internet-driven demonstrations stemming from Scientology's attempts at censorship in January 2008. Following this shameful debacle, the "Project Chanology" movement was born. February 2008 then ushered in the start of an ongoing series of non-violent protests by the group 'Anonymous' at over 140 Scientology centres around the world on a monthly basis, including the Mission of Dublin Ltd on 62/63 Middle Abbey Street. |

Jump To Comment: 1Good to hear someone is taking the danger of this "Church" seriously. I had an interesting contact with them years ago in London. Posing as "market researchers" I was asked if I had an hour to spare to fill in a questionaire. Free snacks and coffee was provided, and as I had two hours to wait for my train I took up their offer. After filling in the questionaire and them analysing it, I was given an incredibly "Hard sell" to try and get me to join their so called church. They were very persuasive and had obviously seen something ain the answers I had given that made them think I was a prime candidate for their "Church"
Luckily I didn't commit anything more than a couple of pounds to buy their book which explained more about their origin. On my train journey home I read the first couple of chapters which confirmed what a close shave I had had.
This church is full of scarey dangerous people, and all should be wary of them. Keep up the pressure on these strange folk.
