This is dumb. Let's debate about a puppet candidate for a sham election for an empire we don't have a vote in.
The Socialist worker's party, as always tackling the important issues.

I disagree with "Kill Joy". This is a very important issue or the left. I think there will be some out there that think Obama is some kind of alternative and would think he's worth backing. These people are generally on the right-wing of the left in Ireland. I think that it's important for people to have clear arguments as to why they oppose Obama and how to build a real movmeent for change in Ireland and internationally.

My only issue are the speakers. I'd say the Democrat will back Obama. But who is this other guy. He's an academic from TCD. Is he a member of the Socialist Workers' Party? And why are SWP putting some blokes job title on posters? What next Joe Bloggs, toilet cleaner in McDonalds? It's an attempt to get some kind of authority and some kind of appeal to middle class intellegensia wannabes. Also do SWP support Obama or not. It's not all that clear from this advert. I'd assume they oppose him.
