just stop believing in fairy stories, face your reality square on and take full responsibility for your own actions. Everything starts to fall into place after that once you stop hiding behind ambiguities from dusty dodgy old books whenever you choose to behave shit towards other people and animals.
Does one need to book a place? Is there any contact details about it? I'll go if I have the time.
The way some of these questions are posed seem very dodgy.
Surely there would be a better way of putting it.
'In what ways are women deemed a problem to which violence is a solution?'
What exactly is the question asking here?
'Are there ways in which women are complicit as targets for violence?'
This should be rephrased to read something like, In what ways does society and religion contribute to women being silenced?
'What role does faith play in justifying violence against women?'
Again very strange sounding.
A question: Does the modern world need religion and what role does religion fulfill in society?
Religion offers stability and direction in life. Generally most mainstream religions are about the same thing, obedience and family values. Most peole dont want to think for themselves, so we offer religion as subsitute. Without religion who else are people going to listen to? Fox News? Sex and the City? The Irish Independant? Ironically enough, people need be taught how think independantly. until we learn the best way to do that, religion is there to hold society into place.
Just in case someone asks, no I dont consider indymedia as a source of independant thought.
