The New Republican Debate Forum Two months ago www.irishrepublican.net was setup on the grounds that it would be a powerhouse of debate between republicans of all political opinions. No other forum exists were like minded republicans can exchange views and opinions. User's can submit articles at their own discretion, and can reply to other peoples articles if they feel they want to comment or put their opinion across. In two months, irishrepublican.net has now 116 members, maintaining a balance between independent, pro GFA and anti GFA viewpoints. As administration, this is the goal of the discussion board. Another objective of the site, is to provide an educational outlet, both with the Irish language and irish history. Again there is no existing forum to cater for the needs of Irish Republicans who want to discuss these topics. So far, the forum has been a sucess, and civilised debate has been paramount to this sucess. I'd like to thank all the members and indeed I would like to appeal to Republicans to sign up now and get your voice heard. Adh Mor, www.irishrepublican.net |

Did we come all this way to end up watching SF's elite being led around the gardens of Stormont like greatful dogs on leads, who at last have been permitted to take part in the dog show.
As they play and preform for the beautiful people, they get rewards,
They roll over time and time again to the delight and amusement of the British Judges.

The IRA Provisionals fought the Brits to a standstill, the others haven't even started.......
Having just clicked the link to this forum it seems to me as another Provo front, the whole page is devoted to Provisional statements including their logos. Hardly an attempt to foster debate and discussion, Republicans would be best advised to ignore the site referred to.
To last poster,
I don't know where you see the ''provo logos'' or where you get the idea that it is a provo front.
Provide some evidence or retract your statement.

Those logos are the avatars of the users who post the story. Most avatars are not party political, but you will see a RSF logo on the front page almost as often as a SF one.
The story is slightly misleading as there are numerous republican debate forums.
The Irish Republican is hardly the ONLY Republican forum where diversity is welcome. The IRBB is another such site (where you dont have to be a Republican at all). Anyone interested can access the link below:
Irish Republican is a decent site, it caters for the diverse range of Republicans. The debate is in most part mature and it's a generally welcoming and friendly site.
Maybe I'm missing something, but this forum seems to have since been completely locked down; it doesn't even seem to let people view the discussion, let alone join in. Seriously, how is this advancing ideas and debate, lads?
I note that many others have now come to the same conclusion as I did in June 2007, the status of that site is now well known, and Daithi's identity has also been revealed.
