Royal Russian Circus publically accuse Galway Animal Rights activists of criminal activity

On Saturday 16th September at 6.30pm, a number of people attended a protest against the use of animals in the Royal Russian Circus on the Headford road in Galway city. The cirucs responded by distributing the following:

"TERRORISTS

THE PEOPLE WHO ARE HANDING YOU FLYERS ABOUT ANIMALS IN THE CIRCUS ARE THE PEOPLE WHO DUG UP A FAMILY.S GRANNY AND HELD THE CORPSE FOR MONTHS THEY ALSO SAID THEY WOULD SET FIRE TO J.P MC MANUS STABLES.ALSO TO MICHAEL FLATLEYS.HOUSE.AND HAVE MADE THREAT.S TO THIS CIRCUS AND TO OTHER COMPANY.S THROUGHOUT IRELAND ALSO A CIRCUS HORSE WAS SET FIRE AT A CIRCUS IN CASTLEBAR ALL THES STATEMENTS CAN BE CHECKED IN THE NEWS PAPERS"

The protest was organised by ARAN and protestors from the new Galway AR group, Animals, were also present.

you can give abuse, but you can`t take it, very easy to knock someone`s profession but when they bite back, you just stand and shiver

If a cicus can not stand by their own methods and support their actions in a manner befitting decent humans how can we expect civil conduct of them towards other humans not to mention animals. Surely such a response indicates insecurity, mal practices and are suggestive that they are hidding something, for if they were not they would have no fear of standing by what they practice.

Referring to post "Laddy",

"stand and shiver"; well, we were all standing, a few may have been shivering due to the weather conditions on the day (wet and a bit cold), but the general reaction of the protestors on seeing the flyers was to explode into peals of laughter (the only kind of exploding I have ever, or ever intend to involve myself in, I hasten to add!). I laughed for days and am thinking of framing the original flyer to stick on my wall to cheer myself up in moments of gloom.
