Full marks to you and yours - and we are continuing with much the same action here in this part of Clondalkin (Green Isle Hotel vicinity).
Great to see that this campaign is still strong in various parts of Dublin . We will not pay twice for the one service.

*Irish Independent, Wednesday August 9th 2006*

THE HOME county of the minister responsible for cleaning up the country
has the worst record for household waste recycling.

Wicklow, the home base of Environment Minister Dick Roche, has the
lowest percentage of household waste recycling, according to a
government audit published yesterday.

Most of the rubbish in the Garden County is ending up in dumps, says
the
Local Authorities Service Indicators 2005 report, published yesterday.
The table covers all local authorities.

Hey,
Was just wondering what it means if you get the orange tag on your bin. I know of someone who got the orange tag and her bin wasn't collected. She was given no notice that this was going to happen. Is it that her bin charges were not paid?

Any help would be great

Orange tags are attached where, there are arrears on the account OR the bin isn't registered OR the bin is not one supplied by the Council.
