Turkish GAMA workers to protest at Commission for Energy Regulation – Turkish GAMA workers currently on strike are to protest today at 2.15pm at the Commission for Energy Regulation (CER) Office. They are demanding that the CER revokes the license to generate electricity granted to Tynagh Energy (80% owned by GAMA) unless it and GAMA immediately pay the workers all the money owed. |

Gama’s Irish activities include the construction of the 343 MW Huntstown power plant in County Dublin (civils sub-contractor to Siemens AG), and sub-contracting work on two peat-fired power plants at Lanesboro and Shannonbridge.
Gama is also involved in the construction of residential housing schemes in Dublin, the Ballincollig Bypass (recently completed 1 year ahead of target) and the Ennis Bypass currently under construction.
