Good morning leftists, I guess this is your big day, the day you've been waiting for for weeks. A bit like how a Tyrone supporter must have felt on the morning of Sep 28 last. I'm glued to the tv and radio and even this site
to see if the anticipated uprising of the oppressed Irish masses takes place. I wouldn't actually favour it myself, but it would be an interesting phenomenon to observe. Alas, I'm disappointed. The numbers dont seem to be as large as you were forecasting. A turn-out of 70 this morning? Is that 7 with a single 0 after it, or is it a typing error in the Indymedia report? I was expecting 70,000 after all the hype emanating from this site in recent weeks. There have been bigger crowds at the opening of a phone box in remote villages in Connemara. You'll have to do better than that if you want to bring global capitalism to its knees. Still, I'm pleased that you seem to be getting sunny weather for it. In Cardiff here it has been dull, cloudy and drizzly all morning.

They will make the post-materialist world a much better place to live in. And someday you might be one of the so sad ones with just the TV, the CD collections, the Playstation and the synthetic memories.
Why even the nosey stuff will have changed by then. And with less work you might be a very boring bored lad.
But these people above, will be wonderful, counsellors, princes and princesses of peace.

& maybe it will be they who make the
Really Very Neccesary Declaration of the United 25 State European Union
Condemning the Illegal Actions of the USA in Iraq, and condemning the Immoral Actions of the USA's proxy The State of Israel.

Coz the Burleyscunty generation of muppets don't seem to be rising to that challenge.
