Jesus Christ, what is it with some people and the ubiquitous need to superimpose working class credentials on the participants of these protests? These are middle class/lower middle class, motivated, idealist, frictional, activist youths. How many of them are not professional graduates or in the process of becoming professional or at least harbouring that ambition? Sure there are the exceptions - I'd guess about the same percentage as students from Finglas in Trinity. The constant grasping for association with the working class is dishonest and undermines your credibility. Face up to it, the working class is de-motivated, passive and uninvolved. Now that's a goddamned shame but that is how society is now. The closest the working class got to the protest was when some opportunist thrill seeking youngsters in Marathon sports chic wandered in. Go preach the gospel of radical politics to the unconverted.

I don't see why people aren't making complaints to the garda complaints board .I went in there on tuesday and i got a letter the next day saying my complaints been lodged and this morning i had a gard at my door telling me theyre proceeding with an investigation.We could actually get these bastards charged and seeing as there is so much photo and video evidence (i had none and theyre still going on with an investigation) we should make as many complaints as possible,only 35 have been made.Its in Block 1 in the irish life building on abbey street.
