Ordinary soldiers sacrificed by top brass Irish officers

Prime time on Rte last night exposed some of the truth about the coverup of the shady circumstances surrounding the deaths of 3 Irish soldiers. Expect more of this when the generals and politicans get their way and participate in future wars on the side of the yankees and the Euro army against poor 3rd world countries.

These 3 Irish soldiers lost their lives after the Officers did a deal with the Isreali army which allowed them to enter an Irish patrolled area in Lebanon and capture and torture a prominant leader wanted by the Isrealis. The 3 Irish soldiers were in retaliation for this and it has been swept under the carpet for years. It shows how little the lives of even their own soldiers mean to the generals, just as long as the politicans give them ever bigger budgets and plenty of new war toys to play with and a chance to mingle with other Generals in Europe and the US. Expect to see much more of this in future when the last of Irelands neutrality is sold out.

I heard the documentary was interesting, but could have dug deeper

I did not see the documentary but they were all talking about it at work and most believed that there was a cover up from above, including a former soldier (now anti war)

I visited the link given by "jedi of the levant" and while it was of some slight interest it had absolutely nithing to do with the documentary or even the 3 deaths or the events that seemed to be the cause of the deaths. People suchy as jedi writing to indymedia seem to have major problems staying on topic, or even being coherent. Perhaps alternative sites attract this.
