Tweleve young socailists have been arrested and brutally totrured in the Ukraine. The Connolly Youth Movement is calling for the release of these young people. Please join in our condemnation!

Tweleve young socialist have been arrested by former KGB agents of the Security Service of the Ukraine for alleged terrorism offences. The Ukrainians arrested are memebers of the Communist Party of the Ukraine, the all-ukrainian workers union and the Leninist-young communist league (sister organisation of the Connolly Youth Movement)
According to our sources, the sate secuirty could not find any evidence of the alleged offences despite a massive search by Ukrianian police. These young people have been brutally tortured by police in order to get 'confessions'. Recently many top level staff of ukranian aerospace died in accidental crash of aircraft in Iran.
Ukranians hug a lot.
spent a night being hugged by ukranians once.

I would certainly support protests calling for the release of the young people mentioned in the post. They are not responsible for the crimes of Joe Stalin. Btw Harry, see you on saturday and of course KRONSTADT, us Bloshevik Leninists are right (left), you know it makes sense.

you were not alive.
you were not there.

we are in 2003.
most of the people you meet are imperialist exploiters.
if you have a TV you are too.
if you have a car you are too.
if you have a mortgage you are too.
if you pay your rent to a state you are too.
if you used your education to get a job above the average you are too.
if you drink coffee you are too.
if you smoke cigarettes you are too.

The Ukraine has very serious problems.
No-one is talking about Kronstadt there.
No-one is engaging political debate there to feel better about themselves.

Most people here in Ireland this website know shit about the Ukraine.
or Kronstadt
or the Soviet Union.
or Marx
or Engels.
you know shite.
you may occasionally hang out in a hired room with someone who does know about Marx, Engels, the Soviet Union.
But I bet you they know shite about Chernobly.
They wón´´t be able to tell you what happened to the Soviet nuclear arsenal.
They won´t be able to tell you the price of bread in the Ukraine.

So.

if you want to get "involved"
cool.
We don´t give a shite if you are Red, Green, Nationalist, Pacifist, Anarchist.
we just need people learing about their future.

There will never be another October Revolution.
No more Lenin.
No more Trotsky.
they are dead.
No more Krondstad.
No more of any of them.
books are great.
but life is better.
