Union members and social activists are gearing up for what may be the largest, global coordinated action against Starbucks ever. On Saturday July 5th anarchists, trade-union members and social activists in Dublin, Belfast and around the world will be leafleting and protesting against the anti-union pratices of Starbucks. The Alliance for Animal Rights (AFAR) supports Care for the Wilds campaign opposing Tescos turtle sales. We urge our supporters to Boycott Tesco shops here in Ireland. CWI investigators who visited 32 Chinese Tesco stores in April and May discovered that staff do not adhere to Tesco's new slaughter policies. In 12 stores where CWI witnessed slaughter firsthand, staff continued to kill turtles by decapitation alone or by evisceration.
