Resolution adopted by Jewish Socialists' Group national conference, June 1st, 2008.

This conference of the Jewish Socialists' Group is alarmed at the growing threat of war against Iran, expressed by Western politicians
and in the media, and unabated by reports that the Iranian regime has neither nuclear weapons nor plans to acquire them. We are concerned that despite the disastrous results of war in Iraq and unending bloodshed in Afghanistan, attempts are being made to accustom the public to these conflicts and make another, even more destructive war, seem inevitable.

éirígí in mid-Ulster engaged recently in a number of commemorative events time scaled to coincide with the beginning of the Easter Rising and the execution of the last of its leaders.

This provoked a carnival of reaction from unionist politicians and the RUC/PSNI in the mid-Ulster area, resulting in public condemnation of the commemorations by no less than five DUP representatives, and the theft and destruction of commemorative materials and flags by unknown entities throughout the period. ... read full story / add a comment

Our objective is to reveal the truth behind a CR Gas attack on hundreds of Political Prisoners by British Crown Forces on October 15, 1974.

We will also highligh the fact that scores of former prisoners have battled various forms of terminal cancer. Dozens of whom have tragically died.
