Today we are witnessing the ordinary people of Iran finally having had enough with the Ayatollahs and the Guardian Council. It is our duty if we value freedom and democracy to support them. I call on all who support and sympathise with them to make their voice heard and protest at the Iranian Embassy all this weekend. In 2004 Labour was voted in as the largest group, ending Fianna Fail’s domination of the council.
