Following his recent election to the Irish Parliament Joe Higgins the Socialist Party / CWI MEP for Dublin was obliged to announce his replacement as MEP from the election substitute list.

Today the Socialist Party announced that Paul Murphy will be the new Socialist Party / CWI MEP to take over from Joe Higgins. Paul Murphy has been a Parliamentary Assistant to Joe Higgins since the 2009 Euro elections. ... read full story / add a comment

Family Home Will Broke up Family

Parents died leaving Family home intestate. Mick, one of the sons took out a High Court administration form and sold the family without consulting with his brother and four sisters. The other son John took him to court and won the case. It was discovered in court that Mick had defrauded the form in order to sell the home. The case ended up in the Circuit Court and the High Court but both courts decided that John was right to bring the case and he was awarded his share of the family home proceeds plus costs. ... read full story / add a comment
