once upon a time, 63 years before the toppling of Saddam Hussein's regime and the popular embracing and hugging of plural democracy by the peoples of Iraq assisted by the coalition of the willing, despite all the nasty misfits, have a go types, intellectuals, teachers, and biographically scant men from the provinces of Ireland, Europe the Americas, Africa and Asia doing their best to stop it. A very pissed of Charlie Chaplin, composer, script writer, director, actor, comedian, satirist and genius saw fit to screen a movie about dictatorship and the limits of strong leadership and the evils of demogogues and the threat to civilised values in Europe. He had begun work on it in 1938, and when it was finished he chose to append a personal statement feeling "Hitler is a horrible menace to civilisation rather than someone to laugh at" rather than shelve it. He financed the movie himself, coz no-one else cared to annoy nice Mr Hitler. ... read full story / add a comment

once upon a time, 100 years before the Reclaim the Streets party 2016, a number of misfits, have a go types, intellectuals, teachers, and biographically scant men from the provinces of Ireland, paid Mr Christopher Brady a small and nominal sum of several shillings to their mate to print a few copies of their "proclamation". Their names were- Padraig Pearse, James Connolly, Thomas Clarke, Thomas MacDonagh, Sean MacDiarmada, Count Joseph Plunkett & Eamonn Ceannt They were very proud of it, and put their names in capital letters at the bottom. They died under suspicious circumstances later that year. It was the same year the Lord Kitchener saw the one milionth copy of his snappy "Your country needs you!" recruitment poster for the slaughter of the trenches printed. He was very proud of it, and it helped send many millions of young men to their death. He died under suspicious circumstances a year later. ... read full story / add a comment

This situation is amusing to some analysts who know that the ‘winner’ of the Iraq intervention is Israel. Unlike the public, analysts do not have short memories or suffer from bias induced blindness. It was clear that following the missile attacks on Israel by Saddam Hussein, Jewish interests were compelled to remove this dictator from power and eliminate any further threat from Iraq. It was relatively easy to lure the ‘avaricious pig’ to the trough of Oil – a brilliant incentive to invade an eliminate Saddam. ... read full story / add a comment

The 32 CSM totally condemns the harassment of a Derryman by MI5 in Spain earlier this week. He was approached by two armed MI5 agents in a bar in a small village in the mountains of Catalonia last Wednesday. They were backed-up by a further five armed agents. Their purpose was to try to get this man to work for them as an agent on his return to Derry. ... read full story / add a comment
