"A new criminal justice bill is currently being pushed through the Dáil by the Minister for Justice, Michael McDowell. There are a WHOLE raft of measures in the legislation that have the potential to seriously infringe on civil liberties. That's why we've joined forces with the Union of Students in Ireland and are launching an online petition opposing the introduction of On The Spot Fines and Anti Social Behaviour Orders in Ireland." Please go to http://www.hotpress.com/petitions/ to sign the petition. ... read full story / add a comment
