Yesterday President Bush (the 2nd) of the USA addressed the United Nations general assembly appealing for support in Iraq, insisting the invasion was legitimate and ruling out a military withdrawl - "we must win". The Blanket update includes, Davy Carlin on NIPSA Dispute, Mackers on Scargill, Mc Cann on Pat Finucane case , O Comain on Ulster Britishness, and Laim O Ruairc, on Waste. That meeting on Scargill was very well attended and I believe Mackers gives a fair report of it although he has a dig at the SWP.
