The recent census taken shows an alarming land distribution fact.Almost 50% of Ireland's limited landscape is owned by 10% of the population. The reasons given for this onesided dynamic is farming and food security.This has created a land scarcity which has seen thousands of Irish families without homes or land to feed themselves which was the prime fundamental at the centre of every uprising in Ireland since the 15th century.
