Bertie Ahern in corporate takeover of Ireland’s Woodlands? Reclaim our natural Resources Time for a new Land League? This is a short briefing regarding the ongoing privatisation of Coillte. It needs to be considered in conjunction with the theft of our other resources, including but not limited to oil and gas, water, minerals, fish, seeds and various utilities. Please pass it this info on to relevant people. read full story / add a comment

In releases giving to the media on the 28th of November, in which Road Tax was discussed, Minister Brian Dempsey's tone suggested that the Road Tax exemption, that allows people to take their car off the road, was being used willy - nilly by people who had left the country for a period of time and then returned to start re-using the vehicle. This is a pure distortion of the facts, if not a complete lie, and has to be challenged, even if is only for the sake of correction. read full story / add a comment
