The letter below was sent recently today to all Irish Deputies (MPs) and Senators in connection with the proposal to re-run the Lisbon Referendum in order to get a different result. It is accompanied by copies of the two submissions made to the Oireachtas (the Irish National Parliament) Sub-Committee on Ireland's Future in the EU by Anthony Coughlan on behalf of the National Platform Research and Information Centre, of which Coughlan is Secretary. read full story / add a comment

The Government spent tax-payers money on an advertisement we have all, more than likely, seen. It is the ad saying, change your world, change the world. The Green Party now holds office, giving Ireland that positive hope of a greener future. Theres no denying, the Government has not completely failed us. There is a 'landfill' of criticism out there but we do have good and accessible recycling centres, green bins, and some like myself have brown bins. This is not the point. While we go out of our way to recycle, and are somewhat responsible for our part in changing the world for a more greener safer future. Where do the big businesses and Corporations come into all of this? read full story / add a comment
