German Workers Do the Wage Limbo (This would definitely be ISME and IBECs dream. I was surprised to find out that Germany does not have a statutory minimum wage. pc) A new German employment site shows just how bad the country's job market has become. *Ireland play Israel in Israel this Saturday 5.30 pm *Return Game in June in Dublin *Below is the Guardian article about Israel restrictions on Palestinian football team competing in the same competition (World Cup qualifiers) *This vigil is prelude to further nvda when Israel plays the return leg in Dublin *Vigil Saturday March 26th. 12noon - 2pm at the Israeli Consul, Pembroke Rd. Ballsbridge D4 (opposite Jurys Hotel) *This vigil is an outreach to Irish soccer fans - we wish them to consider the human rights being denied to Palestinian footballers *People attending should wear footy shirts if possible (any club, if you've got more than one, bring to lend to others at vigil) *Bring a ball for a kick about, broad sidewalk opposite Israeli Consul on Pembroke Rd. Around this time, Bono even struck up a friendly acquaintance with the loathsome Jesse Helms. ---------------- Council representing landowners were Mr. Michael Forde S.C, Mr. Alan Toal, Mr. Peter Bland and Mr. Michael O'Donnell while Mr. Brendan Philbin and Ms. Bríd McGarry represented themselves. Council representing Shell was Mr. Patrick Hanratty S.C. of Flood/Mahon Tribunal Fame. Presiding Judge was President of the High Court Mr. Justice Finnegan. ---------------- The third day of Shell Oil vs. Rosport took place on a court holiday given the haste with which Shell wants this matter expedited. The morning session saw extensive discussion of detailed legal and technical matters regarding whether Shell have Minesterial consent for the full extent of their plans. There is a main "corridor" along which Shell have been given permission by the Minister to excavate and lay their pipeline.
