BADIL Resource Center 10 April 2002 For Immediate Release In light of the unprecedented Israeli military campaign against the Palestinian people and based on the impressive and worldwide expression of solidarity with the Palestinian struggle for justice and peace, BADIL would like to present to the global solidarity movement a number of initiatives which we consider cornerstones for the future global campaign against Israel's brand of apartheid. BADIL encourages peace and justice activists worldwide to join these and similar initiatives in order to build a broad and sustainable movement, similar to the boycott movement that finally removed the repressive apartheid regime in South Africa. read full story / add a comment

I can't access my e-mail here, so I can't show you the e-mail (yet) I sent to Sharon's office. I can't believe the amount of people trying to spin only one side or reduce everything to harping back to the holocaust or else Arafat and Sharon while on the streets people are dying. Come protest at the Israeli embassy in Dublin 122 Pembroke Road. 8:30 this evening. And tomorrow at the Westin hotel college Green 6pm. Demand that Ireland takes a stand against the carnage. read full story / add a comment

It is one thing for an evil individual to appear in every generation, and there is no question that Arafat is evil. Whilst sacrificing the Children of his own people is probably his most unforgivable crime, sacrificing Truth through his treacherous propaganda war is his most dangerous crime. But for the political and media leaders of Europe, who are fast becoming accomplices to his Murder of the Truth, the crime becomes much harder to forgive. It is precisely this crime, that of BUYING THE LIES committed by ordinary people during the second world war, that created that fertile ground for Adolph Hitler to build his propaganda machine to brainwash an entire continent and come within an inch of destroying modern civilisation. Today Chirac of France is leading the European pack. But the rest of the EU leaders are right behind him. read full story / add a comment
