You may have heard through Tom Power that a meeting took place last Friday (5 November 1999) at Government Buildings, between the National Millennium Committee, Coillte and Allied Irish Bank. Those present included:

A major bombshell was dropped on us An Post workers last Thursday, July 14TH when what we though was a Labour Court hearing about the fact that us An Post workers have still not received our pay increases under the "Sustaining Progress” pay deal going back to November 1ST 2003; was instead we were informed; that instead that The Labour Court had linked the payment of Sustaining Progress to the Collection and Delivery Agreement that is outstanding with the CWU! On Friday Shell to Sea Dublin are hoping to blockade ALL Statoil Stations in Dublin - so far (Wednesday) in an unusaul display of left unity, about 2/3 are spoken for a combination of Sinn Fein, Socilaist Party, SWP, ISN, WSM and many other groups and individuals.
