Max Keiser's awesome satirical film on the glamorous lifestyle of those on the front line of the War on Terrror. From luxury hotels to private jets and champagne, kidnapping and outsourcing torture on the US taxpayer can be a great way to see the world on 50,000 dollars a day.

The finding of the BBC's “State of Minds – The Children” programme that sectarianism is rife amongst children is unsurprising within the context of continuing English rule in Ireland. The English government has always sought to divide and conquer, and this has been no different in Ireland. Furthermore the 1998 Stormont Agreement served to institutionalise sectarianism. read full story / add a comment

In a recent interview published in the Washington Post, former US secretary of state Colin Powell said that the US "didn't have enough troops" in Iraq to restore order following the ill-fated US-led invasion. In saying this, Powell is not revealing anything, but in fact concealing plausible accounts of American soldiers actively inciting Iraqis to plunder public buildings at the time of the invasion. read full story / add a comment

While journalists writing on the front page of the Irish Times have reproduced the Department of Foreign Affairs' official line that the US military traffic at Shannon is taking place under a mandate from the United Nations, a close look at UN Security Council Resolution 1483 shows that there is more plausibly a mandate for Ireland to opt out of the US war of occupation in Iraq, because this has created conditions of persistent instability and insecurity there.

The person/s (activists, perhaps assassins) the agencies seek in relation to the approaching APEC summit may be known to the activist and broader political community; it is therefore with extreme prejudice that we cite government failures in relation to security and policing matters. The APEC summit may become the greatest security failure in Australian history. Infiltration/undercover operations are a two-edged sword; however, that sword has been broken by anti-corruption zealots in NSW. The State now faces gaping inefficiencies and a lack of urgently required expertise. read full story / add a comment

On Saturday June 23rd Belfast ABC will be hosting an evening in support of Mumia Abu Jamal who's fate hangs in the balance amid colliding appeals by both prosecution and defence the outcome of which could see either the quashing of his bogus conviction for the shooting dead of a Philadelphia policeman 26 years ago or indeed the reinstatement of his death penalty which was dropped in 2001.

Sherman Austin was arrested prior to 9/11 for operating the website RaiseTheFist.com. An anonymous poster had added a link in a comment to commonly availble information on bomb making. While Sherman was in pre-trial custody 9/11 occured and he foolishly struck a 3-month plea bargain with the prosecutor. The judge ignored the prosecutor's recommendation and tripled the sentence.

Now Sherman is released and has returned to direct action activism in downtown LA involving the videotaping of cops. Yahoo!News covers the story with two video clips. read full story / add a comment

As the Middle East explodes in factional and sectarian conflict the neo-cons gloat, John Bolton and Condi Rice revealed U.S. policy during the South Lebanon conflict, their non-interventionist policy encouraged the slaughter of children and civilians by Israeli forces – peace is clearly of no use to American interests!
