The singer of Irelands only neo-nazi rock band was arrested in a Dublin city night club for drug dealing. the band '' Celtic Dawn '' have played at Fascist rock concerts in England in the past. members of the band were also invoved in a savage attack on a young Dublin anti-racist in 1992.In both of these cases the offender got of with probation. this is typical of the justice system in this country.When will it end. read full story / add a comment

Marc Henzelin a legal expert from Geneva University has explained why he declined to defend Saddam Hussein saying the special tribunal is not compatible with international law and is little more than a soap opera. Iraqi Saddam Hussein is charged with ordering the deaths of 143 Shi'ite Muslim men following a 1982 assassination attempt against him. - He might also face trial for genocide and war crimes for the killing of Kurds in the 1980s, as well as the suppression of uprisings by Shi'ites and Kurds in 1991. The organisation Human Rights Watch said 200,000 potential opponents were killed during Saddam's regime between 1979 and 2003. It would seem like the man ought be put to trial where the international community recognise the process, penalty and court. What's all the fuss about. The recent leakage of 20 tonnes of plutonium and uranium fuel from sellafields Thorp processing plant has forced the closure of the Thorp processing plant. Shell to Sea protesting at the Shell consortium's intention to process gas onshore at Rossport, County Mayo. Assemble 10.00am, opposite the Gleneagle Hotel. Irish Antiwar Movement protesting against the use of Shannon Airport by the US military. A number of US aircraft are suspected of transporting prisoners to Guantanamo Bay detention centre. Assemble 10.00am opposite the Gleneagle Hotel. Communications Workers Union protesting at staff and pay cuts in postal sorting offices. Commencing at St. Mary's Cathedral, 12.00 noon, finishing up with a rally outside the Gleneagle Hotel. The Ecology Society of NUI, Galway will host a public meeting with members of the Pit Stop Ploughshares this Thursday, 20 October at 7.30 in the Fotteral Theatre. The Pitstop loughshares begin trial next Monday for two counts of criminal damage arising from their disarmament of a US warplane at Shannon airport in the early hours of 3 February 2003.
