Student Activist Gathering

15,000 students protest in Dublin; 5000 protest in Cork, 2000 in Galway.... The student movement is alive and kicking.

USI will be hosting a public gathering and training event in Trinity College on Tuesday of next week (the 18th) at 6pm in the Thomas Davis lecture theatre in the Arts building.

Recent research findings of the Health Research Board revealed that of the almost 2,500 drug related deaths in the past eight years, prescription tranquillisers such as benzodiazepines were involved in more deaths than any other drug, legal or illegal. read full story / add a comment
