Cracks are emerging in the edifice of the ICTU leadership.Blair Horan of the CPSU which has opposed the levy from the start has said: that the CPSU was seeking to have the pension levy scrapped.

Khoza'a, Khan Younis , Gaza Strip: Palestinian farmers, accompanied by international human rights workers, were fired upon by Israeli forces in the village of Khozaa, near Khan Younis, this morning. The farmers and human rights workers were attempting to work on land around 300m from the Green Line.

At present a number of Nigerian people are being checked onto a chartered flight to Lagos. These are not holiday makers but people who came to this country to seek refugee status.
