He sought a judicial review to investigate the decision allowing the Jackson Way Roundabout at Carrickmines to go ahead. What next for the campaign?

The Brit government through its prison officer lackeys continue to punish the current UDA loyalist paramilitary leadership, and its members in prison for daring to boot out their appointed stooge Johnny Adair. To this effect North belfast UDA leader Andre Shoukri is in solitary confinement and 24 hour lock down, flanked by armed prison officers in riot gear and ski masks, in what is seen by loyalist s as an attempt to break Andre Shoukri and pay retribution to the current UDA leadership for their stance in expelling the brit government's teachers pet C company. read full story / add a comment

*US military Out of Shannon and Raytheon Out of Derry*

The Global Women’s Strike calls on all women to join the women’s anti-war vigil at Shannon, from midnight tonight to noon on Tuesday 6th January – Women’s Christmas in Ireland.

In this autonomous women’s action, we join women from Shannon, veterans of Greenham Common Women’s Peace Camp and of the 2003 Shannon peace camp, students, housewives, teachers, office workers . . . We join with women and men in Derry who on Wednesday will vigil all day to demand that Raytheon, giant US arms manufacturer, get out of the city. Now governments and political parties talk about peace and jobs in the North and the South, and the necessity of keeping the US 'friendship' to enable them to import the arms trade to Derry and the US military to Shannon... read full story / add a comment
