Below is an extract from a speech by Bahram Soroush, in it he shows that the Ieranian Regimes Labour organistions are led by fascist thugs who attack genuine trade unionists.

The British Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Lord Triesman, in a speech given to the Royal Commonwealth Society on the 26th of June, has stated that in facing up to the challenges posed by the 21st century, the Commonwealth must learn the lessons of the past, and he added: “In a globalised world the Commonwealth cannot go it alone.” The Minister also said that: “The people and governments of the Commonwealth must help address the big issues facing the world. John Howard was ‘surprised’ when he encountered the President of Indonesia, while taking his early morning walk in Jakarta, reported News Radio Australia. The report stated that Howard was “visibly shocked” by the unexpected encounter, which obviously was intended to deliver a clear message; the Indonesian President is not known for taking early morning walks, we can therefore conclude that his gesture was calculated. read full story / add a comment

The EPA website today invites you to give them your opinion on how well they do their job. This is newsworthy as it is a rare event for a State agency to put itself into the spotlight in this way. However the call for opinions needs a little more publicity than simply appearing on the EPA website. Indymedia's newswire allows readers to learn about stuff like this from a central point - that is what makes Indymedia so valuable. read full story / add a comment
