Amnesty International has gathered testimony from people still struggling to rebuild their lives following Operation “Cast Lead”, which killed around 1,400 Palestinians and injured thousands more. Unless the muscle of the US and its government can be turned around and Obama starts listening to his emissary George Mitchell and to a lesser degree Ms Clinton there will be no real change either in Gaza , the border crossings or any hope of Israeli compliance with International Justice and humanity. Neither can any advancement towards a 2 state solution be even conceived until the Israelis agree to Jerusalem being the Capital City for both Israel and Palestine. read full story / add a comment
