There will be a Walk for Peace and Justice in Skibbereen, Co.Cork, on Saturday, 26th June. Starting in the Town Square at 2pm, we will walk to the Famine Graveyard at Abbeystrewery (about a mile) It is an expression of solidarity with all victims of injustice and oppression. It is a rejection of the violence and brutality in which our government has made us accomplices. It is a celebration of our belief in human values, in Peace, Justice and Compassion. Bring flowers, musical instruments, wear fancy dress if you like. This is a child-friendly event. A collection will be made to support AFrI's work for human rights. read full story / add a comment
