Mirian Cotton and David Manning piece in Counterpunch discussing how the “dominant media” in Ireland treated the Iranian elections and compares that media's handling of the elections in Honduras which occurred around the same time. Capitalism is afraid to let the depression go its full course to thereby cleanse the system because of the potential threat from the working class.
