Twelve people who have refused to purge their contempt appear back in the High Court at 10.30am tomorrow morning in front of Judge Mella Carroll.
They would urge people to come and give them support tomorrow morning from 10am.
All of the people in the court this morning took great heart from the noise of their fellow protestors.

There will be a public meeting on the upcoming ESF in NUIGalway this Thursday. The meeting starts at 7:00pm and takes place in AC232 (Follow signs from the Bank of Ireland on the main concourse).

This will be a repeat of the great forum held last week in town. The speakers will be:Andy Storey - Afri, Gerritt Nelson Stevenson -Nigerian Anti-Capitalist Activist, Orla Ní Chomhraí -Defend Free Speech, Assembly and Activity

The aim of the meeting is to organise a group from Galway to go to the ESF in Paris this November and to organise a strong anti-capitalist movement on-campus.

Yesterday I went to the Burger King on O'Connell Street and got a take away meal. I left the joint to meet with my mates in McDonalds. After a few minutes the manager came up to me and took my meal off me saying "next time you eat in here make sure it's McDonalds". He then dumped it in the bin. It wasn't even half ate and it really annoyed me cause he actually threw away my donought which was in a plain brown bag on the middle of the table. read full story / add a comment
