I can remember the first time I stood with my father on a terrace and watched men chase a bag of wind around a field. I still can be found standing on those steps in all sorts of weather. read full story / add a comment

We normally start the monthly critical masses as soon as the evenings start to get long enough so that it's still bright after 7pm. We're a bit late getting started this year but better late than never. Hundreds or maybe even thousands of people from Ireland will be travelling to Gleneagles, Scotland in early July to join others from all over the planet in protesting against the G8 Summit there. Dissent is one group organising to help people get there and we wanted to tell you why we are going. Once the protests are on you will hear about it on Sky News but as Mayday showed last year in Dublin you can't believe much of what the media tell you. read full story / add a comment |
