The klan`s "Imperial Wizard" - the head of the organisation - Ray Larsen spoke to Dubliner magazine, and has written to Ireland`s Justice Minister Michael McDowell in praise of his work.

Yes its that time of year again, up north, as 'traditional' 12th celebrations get under way as early as 12.00 pm on the lords day sunday, the 11th reminescent of traditional victorian traditons of sending children up chimneys, children as young as 7 years old are sent up to scale the dizzy heights of giant phallic bonfire sites stacking up crates and sorting out discarded rubbish. read full story / add a comment

" I will tell you something about stories", he said
"They just aren't entertainment
Don't be fooled
They are all we have, you see,
all we have to fight off illness and death.
You don't have anything
if you don't have stories
Their evil is mighty
but it can't stand up to our stories,
So they try to destroy the stories
let the stories be confused or forgotten,
They would like that
They would be happy
Because we would be defenseless then....."

Along with the late Fr. Paul Kabat & the late Larry Cloud Morgan, Helen and Carl were part of the Silo Pruning Hooks that carried out a nonviolent disarmament action on an ICBM missile silo in 1984. ***See link below for backgorund on this 1984 action....

Larry & Paul were sentenced to 8 years. Helen & Carl were sentenced to 18 years.

Since 1984 Helen has spent less than a week out of custody. While in federal custody she carried out further resistance actions on military related industries in the federal prison. In the late '80' s she resigned from the specifically pacifist plowshares movement. When paroled in 1996, she expropriated $10.000 from a bank in Chicago. placed it on the floor of the bank, burnt it with lighter fluid and stated "money is the root of all evil!". She was released a few months ago and her probabtion breaking action is described below. read full story / add a comment
