With the general election approaching, have you decided who is getting your vote? If you live in Dublin North East, why not come and meet the candidates in your constituency during a special Public Meeting which will take place on Monday evening, April 16th, from 7.30pm to 9pm at Raheny GAA Club. Residents in the Dublin North Central area are invited to attend a similar meeting with candidates from that constituency on Monday April 23rd, from 7.30pm to 9pm, at Donnycarney Youth and Community Centre. read full story / add a comment

Danish prime minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen cannot be prosecuted for the war in Iraq, the High Court of Denmark ruled on Wednesday 11 April.
The court found that the plaintiffs were not entitled to prosecute, as they did not have "legal interest" in the matter. They will now appeal to the Supreme Court. read full story / add a comment

The Australian Prime Minister, John Howard, has come out in support of a known public toilet-loitering homosexual, racist – Alan Jones, a ‘controversial’ talkback radio host was recently found to be in breach of the broadcasting code. Another dubious and prominent character, John Singleton, known for his past links with Heroin importing former grade footballers and the CIA Nugan Hand Bank, has also expressed his support for the toilet-loitering, sexual deviant broadcaster. Cork Shell to Sea will be holding an Information Day event on the Grand Parade on Saturday 14th April from 2p.m. onwards. The likely venue will be at the entrance gates to Bishop Lucey Park. We'll be there with banners, info stall, clowns, music, Djs, leaflets, posters, displays, in short the whole farm.
