it has been a little over 100 days since Hariri a lebanese billionaire died along with several of his employees in a car bomb attack in Beirut in the early hours of Saint Valentine's day. He left to his few sons business concerns worth approximately 2 billion euros in various sectors from primary (construction and quarrying) to services, = the most popùlar telly stations. read full story / add a comment

Having become alarmed at the rising crime rate more than two years ago I decided to build a website to highlight the problem. In that time almost nothing has been done to address the problem. How much more mayhem do we have to put up with before our elected representatives finally get around to doing their jobs? read full story / add a comment

I thought this might be of interest for assorted lefts. I've written this article for a music fanzine in my own area, but it certainly has political relevance, especially for fans of the German industrial metal group. The politics of Rammstein have been debated for years, but those who I have spoken with have always been a little unsure of the actual stance of the band. Hopefully this article will go towards clearing this debate up in some ways. Any constructive criticism is appreciated. read full story / add a comment
