It has been long observed that people for some reason on their non-banking days readily absorb shite about Dangerous Places, Famous People, Sensible Saving Options, Holidays, Interesting facts, Sport results, Media, gardening and health as well looking ahead at “opinion polls” and looking back at "how history was made".

Here are three dates-
july 27th 1968,
August 29th 1975
Nov 20th 1975

Today marks the 30th anniversary of the last "one".
It also marks the 60th anniversary of the Nuremburg trials.

Anyone asks you, you know what to say.
"they're not in Poland or Romania".

For plane spotters, here are the registration numbers of the flights in question. Please note they have gone through Shannon. Please note also, that these flights are using "diplomatic immunity" to evade control, in the process breaching sovreignty of nuetral nations and insulting allies of NATO. It has gone beyond the stage of the benefit of the doubt. These flights are not transporting "tippy toppy interpreters on call".

On 12 November a
protest
against the US military bases, which are going to be situated near the
villages Novo Selo, Bezmer and near the Burgas' port, took place in Sofia
(Bulgaria's capitol). More than 500 people marched through the central streets
of Sofia, expressing their stand against all military bases. The protest ended
in front of the National Theater "Ivan Vazov". In the protest took part the anarcho-block of autonomous antiauthoritarian group "AnarchoResistance"
(around 60 people). Few nationalists from BNS (Bulgarian National Union) were
also there but left quickly after the demo.
On the evening of 10 November two activists were arrested and brutally beaten
by the police, while they were sticking posters for the protest near the
Synagogue. read full story / add a comment

2. MADRID, Spain Nov 14, 2005 — A court in Spain said on Monday it has received a prosecutor's report on allegations that the CIA has used a Spanish airport on the island of Mallorca for covert transfers of Islamic terror suspects.
