Approximately 800-1000 people braved the long journeys, temperamental Irish weather and persistent global propaganda to join together and call once again for the immediate withdrawal of us military aircraft and personal using Shannon wirport for stopover and refuelling and of course an end to the barbaric war in Iraq. The good-natured crowd marched and sang their way from the car park in the town centre, to outside the heavily barricaded warport where a number of speeches were made.
